Girls of the Week for September 22 are...

Ruth and Amanda


Once again, two girls. *sigh*

Ruth and Amanda are VERY cool girls. They are both beautiful Sigma Kappas at TCU. Amanda is Vice President of Alumnae Relations (sounds so important!) and Ruth is Recording Secretary. She was the one who assigned me the job of webmaster of the Sigma Kappa website.

Ruth is very active on campus. She is an OSA (Orientation Student Assistant), which are the students who assist the incoming freshmen in "adapting to their college experience." She's also in Student Foundation (with me!). Every Friday at 2pm, Ruth and I get to give prospective students a tour of the campus. She is a junior from San Marcos, Texas. Her mother and sister both attended TCU, so she's got quite a legacy!

Amanda is about 5 feet tall. That's not meant to be a derisive remark, but it's the truth. She teaches a leadership class to freshmen, who are looking to expand their leadership capabilities. Whatever. I took the class to meet people (and by people I mean girls, since the class was like 20 girls, me, and Adam Cain). Amanda is from Rowlett, Texas, on the other side of Dallas.
