Jane's 21st Birthday
DATE: July 25
Jane's 21st birthday party was more of a weekend extravaganza. On Saturday, we went to Joe T's, her house, the Pub, and she had friends come into town too. I snapped a few choice photos-

These guys love to party.

Leanna's 21st Birthday
DATE: May 28
Leanna turned 21 about a month ago, and I returned from National Camp School just in time for the festivities. I'm glad I have such good timing, because this was an event that I sure didn't want to miss. As you can see, Nathan was thrilled about being there too...

This 21st birthday actually didn't include a trip to the Pub. Instead we were downtown, mainly at the Library. As more and more guys showed up (like Nathan, but also Gabe, Jose, Scott, and Dietz) we all made sure to be gentlemen and buy a drink for the lady's birthday.

Jose bought Leanna some very ladylike drinks: Jaeger-bombs. Here's a great action shot of Leanna, taking on Gabe and Jose:

And as smart as Dietz and I are, we showed up together, wearing the same color shirt. Amazing.

Life Status
DATE: July 8
I have finished working at Worth Ranch and I'm taking some "time off" until August, when I will really look for a job. The job will only be a temporary gig until I hopefully start with Accenture in late fall. I'm in the process of moving to a new house with old BYX guy Aaron. He owns the house, and I'm living with him on a temporary basis. Everything in my life is "temporary" these days...

Trip to Colorado (see This Just In)
DATE: July 16-20

Evan is going to Camp Alexander in Colorado with Troop 62 this week. Eight years ago, I also took the same trip with the same troop, and the rest of the family came up on Friday and met me there. We then left early and vacationed around Colorado, visiting Denver and Estes Park. Hans wants to do the same trip again, so I'll be going along. He did, after all, offer to pay for everything. That's always a bonus when you're on that borderline between dependent or independent.
