Girls of the Week are...

Molly and Cathy

A return to the co-Girls of the Week form, yes, but these girls are practically one. Let's delve into history:

Back in September, BYX was paired with Alpha Chi Omega for homecoming activities. There are probably 80-90 girls in AXO, with a pledge class of about 40. Through Frog Follies and float building, I met quite a few of them. Now homecoming has come and gone, but I'm proud to say I've forged friendships with these girls and some just won't seem to go away (not that we want them to). Molly and Cathy are the most ubiquitous of these girls.

Molly (L) and Cathy

So here's a little backstory on these girls. They're both freshmen, both newly inducted AXO pledges, and they support BYX a lot. They're at every party, at Billy Bob's occasionally, Victory, formal, and in this case, intramural basketball games. Molly is the shorter one, and she's from Alabama. Cathy is the taller, from Louisiana, and majors in something called "movement science."

The photo on the left has some usual suspects in it. You may know the hatted individual from Gaster Lumber. That's Thad, co-creator of the webpage. The shaggy haired one on the right is Adam, frequently sighted with Molly and/or Cathy, and he's a Son of Voorn, too.

OK, story time. On the last night before the homecoming parade, it was crunch time for float building. In the middle of decorating, all the AXO girls convene on the front lawn of Wabash (float building site), giggling and being altogether suspicious. Ten minutes later, they run from the front yard, brandishing cans of whipped cream. An all-out battle between the armed girls and the unarmed boys began. I was standing in the back doorway when this happened, holding a cup of water, that I was planning on drinking. That drinking water suddenly became a useful weapon when Molly gave me a good spray-down with her can of whipped cream. I looked at the cup in my hand, then at Molly, then hurled the water at her. She screamed, as girls do, and laughed. Hey, it's all in good fun. Look below, they still like me.
