Girls of the Week for September 8 are...

Lauren and Kristy

I really shouldn't have started off with 2 girls. Somehow the precedent has been set to have 2 girls a week, which means I may run out sooner than hoped. Anyway, this week it's Lauren and Kristy.

What makes these girls so cool? Well, first, I won't hold it against them that they are Longhorns. And they're friends with Andrew and Rob. It's really interesting how I became friends with them. Kristy and Andrew have been hanging out since last October. Kristy's best friend Sarah goes to TCU. I first met Kristy when she and Andrew came to visit Sarah and I during finals week last May. She's a great girl...likes her mini-golf and Major Applewhite. She's originally from Sugar Land, which is really close to Geoff! She and Lauren share an apartment in the same complex as Andrew, Rob, and Joe.

Lauren and Kristy. Who's that schmo over Lauren's shoulder?

Lauren, I met under different circumstances. Back in August, Joe and I decide to road-trip it to Austin. This itself is odd, because we're both free-flight boys thanks to our dads' employment in the airline industry. Nevertheless, we went to eat with Lauren and Andrew, both of whom spent the summer in Austin. I learned all kinds of great things about Lauren. She likes musicals, she's from Boston (way cool), and she's not an experienced packer. I helped with that. She also sleeps on sheets that I estimated to be 300-thread count. It's like sleeping on a cloud, she says.

More Info!

I'm adding some more "substance" to this page, so you've got two more photos. Doesn't Lauren look sexy with a party hat? I think so. I've got some more info on these Longhorn babes. Both of them are nursing majors, and Kristy is involved with a campus organization called Texas Spirits. Lauren is in Alpha Phi Omega (with Andrew). I'm not sure if they're still doing it, but as of August, they wanted to remain active so the freshmen would see that "there were good looking people in APO."
