Kristy is seen in this photo with Julie and Lauren. There must have been something in the water, because everyone's eyes are red. Julie also looks like she wasn't quite ready for the photo. Andrew has known Kristy since his sophomore year. I didn't meet Kristy until the following May, when she came to visit TCU with Andrew. She had ulterior motives than simply meeting me for the first time. Kristy's best friend from high school is Sarah Gibbs. Almost too coincidental, that Andrew's best friend from high school also goes to TCU.

Kristy gets the title "world traveler" because she used to live overseas. Her dad works for an oil company, and like every other oil family I've known, they have lived in another country. I think she lived somewhere in southeast Asia, but I'm not entirely sure. Singapore maybe.

She gets the title of "nurse" because of her major, logically. She's a very "help-others" oriented person, so nursing is a natural career path for her. She's taken care of me when I was sick, too. It wasn't fun being sick, but I was glad I could provide some real world experience for her.

And yes, Friday is Kristy's birthday! In celebration, there will be a party. Andrew insisted I come to Austin for it, and certainly I would not miss such a party. Jose will be coming along, for the fraternizing and the no limit hold'em game the following night.

I think I will add some more about Kristy after the party. Austin parties are fun, and this one should be just the same. Happy birthday, Kristy!
